Good used casting, fully dismantled, threads checked, oil pump rotors removed and inspected. Pressure relief assembly removed.
Cleaned in acid tank, grit blasted and re-assembled.
New Front oil seal fitted. Supplied with timing cover and water pump gaskets.

Made for ATP Automotive Graywerks, USA (manufactured in Mexico).

Supplied with neoprene front oil seal and gaskets
A fuel pump blanking plate may be available.
Fitting:
The oil pump gear shaft (female slotted) as supplied, is to suit distributors equipped with a drive gear and not a drive gear and coupling as per the 1976-1992 approx engines. These use a tanged shaft end or male fitting.
If installing the cover on a later 1976> engine, the oil pump shaft can be utilized from your old gear shaft to suit the drive gear installed on your distributor.  A hydraulic press will be required to achieve this.
Will accept Standard, aftermarket Mallory, FAST or MSD Rover-type distributor and P6/SD1 type water pump assemblies.
Rover SD1, Rover P6, MGB V8 or or Range Rover Sump pans can also be fitted.
Some minor filing/fitting may be required to clear the front intake gasket holding plate due to casting variation between early 3.5L and later 3.9L engines. The timing marks on your existing crankshaft pulley will need to be re-marked.
Suitability.
Note: Suitable for use in e.g. Cobra Replicas, MGBV8 Conversions using P6, SD1 or Range/Land Rover Engines.
NOT suitable if your vehicle has PAS or A/C pumps or ancillaries.
Note: No longer automatically supplied with distributor end drive gear.
